- Security and back up of Data is of the upmost importance, as well as a backup to a remote location, copies of data on physical media are taken out of London every night. Internet, email and download protection and a total anti-virus solution safeguard and secure Phoenix´s IT.
- Phoenix uses only licensed software with subscription and support where available
- Phoenix´s Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery plan activates in event of Head Office or London being inaccessible, a DR server and laptop PC´s are stored in south east London. While some staff can work remotely others cannot, this location is primarily for the accounts and purchasing departments. The DR server holds a backup of live data from head office, and supports the operation of email (including to Blackberry phones), accounts and purchasing software.(click here).
- If necessary the Phoenix I.T Dept have the proven capability of being able to set up a functioning project site office within 24 hours of appointment complete with CAD, site server, multi-function copier, A0 plotter and mobile 3G forming communications until BT landlines and ADSL are installed. This is down to the excellent reliability of suppliers Phoenix use, good logistics and the skill of the people who look after Phoenix´s IT (click here).
- Phoenix´s in house document management system enables users to locate, write, review, and manage content in the organization. In line with Quality Assurance it ensures standardization and is also accessible to authorized users remotely.
